Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Addison, and I’m a journalist and singer based in New York City.
Raised in Tampa, Florida, I’m a senior at New York University pursuing a double major in Journalism in the College of Arts and Sciences (B.A.). and Recorded Music within Tisch’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music (B.F.A.).
Currently, I am freelancing and working as a beauty and pop culture writer for Allure, but I have also interned for L'Officiel USA, V Magazine and VMAN, Modern Luxury Media, and Law & Crime. I'm also a passionate member of NYU’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and have been the Deputy Culture Editor of the Washington Square News, our university newspaper. In my free time, I can frequently be seen shopping at Trader Joe’s (my one true love), choking while running on the treadmill at the gym, or complaining about the latest season of The Bachelor (but obviously still tuning in faithfully every Monday).
As a journalist and songwriter, I love telling stories – especially ones that some don’t have the chance to share themselves. My work encompasses lifestyle journalism, including pop culture, beauty, fashion, food, fitness, nutrition, and music, which inherently speaks to my work as a singer. Nothing would make me happier than trying to make the world just a bit brighter through writing about new discoveries in these fields or sharing someone’s story through an interview.
Thank you for visiting my site – I hope you stay awhile and get to know me better!
